DACP 860 : Clinical Practicum VII
This course is the transition-to-practice semester in which students function as near-independent providers under indirect/distant supervision consistent with institutional policy and COA standards. Students assume primary responsibility for comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care across general and specialty services (OB, cardiac, pediatric, regional), demonstrating readiness for entry-level practice through safe clinical judgment, efficiency, leadership, and outcomes awareness. Clinical experiences are unrestricted across the perioperative continuum, with opportunities for call/off-hours exposure to broaden case mix and acuity.
