DEBP 810 : Evidence-Based Practice I
This course is designed to develop an understanding for the first four steps of the evidence-based process: (0) Cultivate a Spirit of Inquiry, (1) Formulate a Compelling Clinical (PICOT) Question, (2) Search for the Best Evidence, and (3) Critical Appraisal. Through the careful exploration of these steps, doctoral learners will participate in class lectures, work in groups, formulate a phenomenon of interest statement, design and explore concepts, create a PICOT question, provide peer feedback, perform a literature search, critically appraise and summarize evidence, and present a digital representation of their coursework.
