DEBP 830 : Evidence-Based Practice III

This course is designed to build upon DEBP 820 and further develop an understanding for the evidence-based process. DEBP 830 will examine steps 4-6 of the evidence-based process: (4) integration of the evidence with clinical expertise, (5) evaluation of the outcomes of practice change based on evidence, and (6) dissemination of the outcomes of the evidence-based practice change. Through careful exploration of these steps, the doctoral learner will participate in group discussions, listen to lectures, create an evidence-based project, develop a plan for implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of the project to improve practice or healthcare outcomes, and present scholarly work during an anesthesia symposium.
