MTSA is committed to enriching students’ educational experiences through diverse and comprehensive clinical opportunities. To support this objective, all clinical placements and rotation assignments are determined and assigned solely by the program. Clinical placements are mandatory components of the curriculum and are not selected or chosen by students.
Recognizing the value of partnerships with diverse healthcare facilities, MTSA places students at clinical sites across multiple regions Students are required to participate in all clinical rotations as assigned by MTSA. Assignments may be changed or reconfigured at the discretion of the institution based on site availability, accreditation standards, and institutional needs. All students should expect to rotate through multiple affiliated institutions to obtain appropriate clinical exposure.
MTSA reserves the right to modify clinical affiliations, rotation schedules, and the duration and location of clinical assignments as necessary. While MTSA may provide advance notice of such changes when feasible, no guarantee of advance notice is made or implied.
MTSA does not provide preferential assignment, or guarantees regarding clinical placement locations, rotation schedules, or travel requirements based on a student’s place of residence, commuting distance, employment, family obligations, means of transportation, or other personal circumstances. Students are expected to fully participate in all assigned clinical rotations and schedules.
The Program maintains clinical affiliations in various states. Additional sites (in-state and out-of-state) can be added at any time. Specific clinical sites and assignments are subject to change at any time based on availability, accreditation requirements, and educational needs. Site-specific expectations and requirements is provided to students during clinicals onboarding and may be updated as needed. Students are responsible for reviewing all information provided for each assigned site.
