Carrying liability insurance for MTSA students is to offer specific protection against third party claims that may arise as a result of some action when students are participating in the provision of anesthesia. When a claim is made, the insurance carrier has the right to defend the insured, thus MTSA has afforded students this protection. Student are required to notify the Program Administrator of any issue that could be a liability. For more information, see the Additional Expenses section of this handbook.
